WASHINGTON - Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the United States (U.S.) Hillary Clinton urged the new Libyan later headed by the National Transition Council (NTC), must act decisively against extremists."We will monitor them, that Libya would meet its obligations. This new government, should make sure the pile of weapons (Gaddafi's) do not move into the wrong hands," said Clinton told AFP on Friday (08/26/2011).
"The new Government of Libya must act decisively against the extremists," she said in a written statement.
The opposition which now controls almost the entire territory Libya and conflicts that occurred during the last six months, determined to establish a free and democratic government. NTC also dismissed any notion that says they have links with Al Qaeda.
But the NTC must prove they are not clearly linked to international terrorist networks, once in March and then the NATO commander Admiral James Stavridis see any elements of Al Qaeda in among the opposition.
Al-Qaeda member Abu Yahya al-Libi who was previously a citizen Libya also called for resistance against Gaddafi. Until now, al-Libi is not known to exist and he vowed to help the effort penjungkalan against Gaddafi.
Gaddafi himself who continues to disappear after the opposition control of Tripoli, has accused the opposition party is a member of Al Qaeda
