The series of Violence kills 33 in Iraq

BAGHDAD - In the night the 33 Iraqis were reportedly killed in a series of violence. Generally the victims were killed by bomb attacks and accidents.

On Saturday, August 27 six people were reportedly killed by a bomb that hit Baghdad. While three others known to have died after a bomb placed on a bicycle, reportedly exploded. The bomb was placed outside the mosque Omar Bin Abdul Aziz, commonly visited by Sunni Muslims.



Half an hour later, three policemen were reported killed after receiving reports of a bomb placed under a bridge in the al-Ghadeer. Eight people were reportedly injured in the incident.

Two other bombs exploded in Mosul also reported, in which 15 villagers confirmed dead in this incident. Among the dead included nine members of the military and Iraqi police. So reported the Associated Press on Sunday (18/08/2011).

Deadly incidents that occurred in Iraq during this Saturday it was reported due to road accidents. A bus carrying a family vacation in northern Iraq reportedly collided with a car and immediately caught fire.

The accident instantly killed 24 passengers trapped inside. While three others who were in the car, also reportedly killed. According to Traffic Police Chief Brigadier General Sallar Kirkuk region Fiqh fateful bus departed from Baghdad to Irbil.

Fiqh ensure no militant involvement in this incident. The bus itself is filled with blankets and drinking places and it seems like the passengers going on holiday when the accident occurred.
