10 Thousand U.S. Flight Cancelled Due to Hurricane

While the subway system in New York stopped due to this storm.



Tens of millions of prospective passengers, including air and road trains and buses, was forced to cancel their trip due to the storms.

New York City who have never experienced the cancellation of regular public transport appeared powerless when the subway network is not functioning.

"There is no mass transportation available," said New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg told Reuters on Sunday (28/08/2011). "The airport is really close (from surgery)," continued Bloomberg.

Bloomberg added, it is impossible subways and some other mass transportation can operate on Monday, August 29 next.

While from Friday until Monday, the airline has canceled more than 10,000 flights.

Operations in three U.S. airports north of the region was deserted. John F Kennedy Airport and LaGuardia Airport in New York and Newark Airport in New Jersey away from the habit.

The entire airport was effectively closed and the flight service certainly will not continue until the weather conditions can be considered safe and normal.
